STRING BEANS IN WHITE SAUCE 
1 lb. string beans
3 hard boiled eggs
1/2 lb. bacon (fried)

WHITE SAUCE:

2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk

Wash and tie green string beans in little bundles. Boil in salted water until done. Drain and place on platter. Cut strings off and spread out on platter. Make white sauce and spread on the beans, across center. slice eggs and spread on the sauce. Place bacon on eggs and around beans.

To make White Sauce: Melt the butter in a saucepan. Then add flour and salt and stir until it is smooth. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
