2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
3/4 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. very strong hot coffee

Mix first 3 ingredients until creamy. Save 1 cup of this mixture for the topping. Add rest of the ingredients, mixing well.

Pour into 9 x 12 inch greased pan. Sprinkle reserved mixture over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
