VEGETABLE COMBO 
4 carrots, peeled and cut into 2 1/2 inch long pieces
1/2 lb. string beans
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. salt

Cut all vegetables into bite sized pieces. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the vegetables and rest of the ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally. Cook until vegetables are tender. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
