CANDICE'S TURKEY TACOS | |
This recipe is great for people who still want it to taste good without the extra fat and calories! 1 lb. ground turkey 1 taco seasoning packet 1 (15 oz.) can refried beans 1/3 cup red onion 1/3 cup cilantro 6 cherry tomatoes dairy sour cream (I use light) whole wheat tortillas Cook the pound of ground turkey, draining off the excess fat and adding the seasoning packet. Heat up the refried beans. Chop the onion, cilantro, and cherry tomatoes and keep separate. Heat up the tortillas in the microwave (in a bag or a cloth at 30 seconds per side). As you make the tacos stack the beans, then meat, dairy sour cream, then cilantro, onions, and finally tomatoes to top. Enjoy! Submitted by: Candice |
