GRANNY'S FRENCH MEAT STUFFING 
This was my grandfather's mother's recipe. When my grandparents got married, my grandmother learned to make this and has made it for every holiday ever since. I thought I would share it with you today.

FRENCH MEAT STUFFING:

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
3 medium potatoes, mashed (save potato water for later)
1/2 tsp. ground sage
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
salt and pepper, to taste

Simmer 45 minutes, add potato water if dry.

Our family now makes this in a Crock-Pot after initial browning, though.
