WHITE CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT
CHEESECAKE
 
This cheesecake can only be described as "Wonderfully Sinful."

1 recipe Hazelnut Crust (below)
1 lb. white baking bar chocolate
4 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
3 tbsp. hazelnut liqueur
1 tbsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1 egg yolk
2 (3 oz.) bars milk chocolate with hazelnuts, chopped
1/2 c. butter
Dash of ground nutmeg
Chocolate curls (optional)

Butter sides of a 10 inch springform pan; press Hazelnut Crust evenly over bottom of pan. Place pan in shallow baking dish. For filling cook and stir baking bar over low heat until melted. In a large mixer bowl beat melted baking bar, cream cheese, butter, liqueur, and nutmeg until well mixed.

Add eggs and egg yolk, beat on low speed just until mixed. Stir in milk chocolate pieces. Pour into crust. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 60 to 65 minutes. Cool 10 minutes on wire rack. Loosen sides of pan from cheesecake. Cool 30 minutes then remove sides of pan. Cover and chill thoroughly or overnight. Top with chocolate curls before serving.

HAZELNUT CRUST:

Combine an 8 ounce package hazelnuts or shortbread cookies (crushed) and 3 tablespoons butter (melted).
