GUMDROP CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1/2 lb. raisins
2/3 lb. cut up gumdrops

Cream butter and sugar. Add milk and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamy mixture. Mix well. Fold in raisins and gumdrops. Use 13 inch pan 2 1/2 inches deep and 4 1/2 inches wide. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until done.
