APPLE CRUMB PIE 
Filling:

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter (cold)
5 medium apples cut and cored (golden delicious)

Topping:

1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter (room temperature)

Preheat oven to 375.

Combine all ingredients for filling, except butter. Spoon filling into pie crust. Dice cold butter over filling.

In a bowl mix all ingredients for topping. Dice the room temperature butter into dry ingredients with fork. Mix until crumbs form. Sprinkle over pie.

Bake for 1 hour or until top is golden brown and apples are soft.
