HUCKLEBERRY BUCKLE 
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft shortening
1 egg
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. drained blueberries

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Mix thoroughly sugar, shortening and egg. Stir in milk. Sift together and stir in flour, baking powder, salt. Blend in berries. Spread in greased and floured 9 inch square pan.

Sprinkle with crumb topping. Bake for 45-50 minutes until toothpick thrust into center comes out clean.

CRUMB TOPPING:

Mix:

1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. soft butter

Microwave 15 minutes, high.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
