1 average cabbage head 1 tsp. salt 2/3 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (can add more for own taste) 1/2 c. vinegar (can add more to suit own taste) 1 c. ketchup Shred cabbage. Mix above ingredients together and boil for about 2 or 3 minutes. Pour over cabbage and mix well. (This recipe can be reduced to 1/2 or 1/4 of amount to fit the amount you need.) |
