PRUNE MOCHA CAKE 
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 lg. eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. chopped prunes, drained (use unsweetened, cooked, pitted prunes)

Cream shortening and sugar together; add eggs. Mix spices and salt into flour and add to sugar mixture alternately with milk. Fold in prunes. Bake in bundt pan for 40 plus minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with Mocha Frosting.

MOCHA FROSTING:

6 tbsp. shortening (part butter)
3 c. confectioners' sugar
5 tbsp. hot coffee (or more)
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa

Cream shortening, add egg yolk. Combine sugar and cocoa. Add alternately to shortening with coffee.
