MICHIGAN HOT DOG SAUCE | |
1 lb. ground beef (or turkey) 4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce 1 small onion, minced 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp. cayenne pepper 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 2 cups ketchup (Hunts) Brown ground meat and break into small bits, drain. Add butter, lemon juice, and onion and sauté until onions are translucent. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes, covered, stirring occasionally.
