COCONUT POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. Angel Flake coconut
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together butter, Crisco and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour, baking powder and coconut alternately with milk. Mix well. Add vanilla. Bake in a 10 inch greased tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325 degrees or in 2 (13 x 9 inch) pans at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.
