ONE POT DINNER | |
4 cans (16 oz.) green beans 1/2 c. bacon grease 1 med. onion, sliced 8 med. potatoes, peeled & quartered 2 lbs. smoked sausage Combine first 3 ingredients in large pot. Cook over medium heat for 1 hour. Add water when necessary. Add potatoes, cook until potatoes are done. Cut sausage into 1 inch sections and boil in separate pan to remove most of the grease. Drain and add to bean-potato mixture. These freeze great for individual servings or later use. |
