SWISS STEAK 
Cubed steak or pounded round steak (enough for family & guest)
Flour
Vegetable oil
Salt
Pepper
V-8 vegetable juice

Salt and pepper steak. Cut into 3 inch pieces and flour. Brown on both sides in a small amount of vegetable oil. Once browned on both sides pour off excess oil. Return to range and pour in 1/8 inch juice, enough to cover meat well. Bring to a bubble boil, cover skillet and cook on simmer to low approximately 45 minutes. Meat will be tender enough to cut with a fork. V-8 will form a gravy consistency.
