MUSHROOM-RAISIN MEATLOAF | |
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs 3/4 lb. lean ground beef 1/4 lb. bulk sausage 1 egg 1 tbsp. nonfat dry milk 2 tbsp. raisins 1/4 lb. mushrooms, coarsely chopped 1 tbsp. Worcestershire 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 strips bacon, cut in half 2 tbsp. catsup Mix together crumbs, ground beef, sausage, egg, dry milk, raisins, mushrooms, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Press lightly into a 1-quart baking dish, tureen, or loaf pan. Lay bacon strips lengthwise on loaf and drizzle with catsup. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until meat is no longer pink inside when slashed. |
