BRUNCH CASSEROLE | |
8 slices white bread (no crust) 1 lb. mild sausage, cooked 4 eggs 2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1 tsp. mustard 6 oz. grated cheese (Use long Pyrex dish). Butter casserole dish. Line with slices of bread, cut to fit. Sprinkle cheese over bread, then cooked sausage. Beat eggs slightly; add salt, pepper, mustard and milk. Pour over top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 30 minutes. A good brunch casserole - grits, orange juice, coffee. Suggestion for Christmas morning brunch. |
