4 c. (2 lb.) sauerkraut, drained & rinsed 1 tsp. caraway seed 1 can (12 oz.) corn beef, cut in slices 1/3 c. bottled Thousand Island dressing 1 pkg. (4 oz.) sliced Swiss cheese 2 slices rye bread, toasted & cubed 2 tbsp. chopped parsley (opt.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread sauerkraut in a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle in caraway seed. Arrange corn beef slices on sauerkraut. Spoon on dressing. Place slices of Swiss cheese over slices of meat. Sprinkle bread crumbs. Bake 20 to 30 minutes until hot. Garnish with parsley. This is for 6 servings. |
