SEAFOOD PASTA CHOWDER 
6 oz. miniature pasta bowties or shells, precooked
3 oz. butter
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced, 1/8 in.
2 (1 oz.) packets Knorr Newburg sauce mix
3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. dry white wine
1/4 c. green onions, sliced, 1/8 in.
3 oz. crabmeat, frozen or canned
Parsley for garnish

Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and rinse lightly with cold water to prevent sticking together and set aside. Sort crab meat to remove any shell pieces remaining. Melt butter in a 3 quart non-aluminum heavy sauce pan. Add mushrooms and saute' for 3 minutes. Add sauce mix and stir well. Add milk, water and wine. Stir well with a wire whip over moderate heat until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes stirring constantly. Add green onions, precooked pasta and crab meat and stir to combine. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately. Buono Appetito!
