SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
1 c. sour cream

Sift flour, soda and salt together. Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well. Add sour cream alternately with flour mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in a tube pan at 325 for 90 minutes. Turn out of pan immediately.

ORANGE GLAZE:

1/4 c. sugar
Juice of 1 orange, strained

Beat together until sugar is melted.

While cake is still hot, put part of glaze on top and let stand 5 minutes. Turn from pan and pour rest of glaze over cake.
