EASY PEANUT CHEWS 
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 1/4 c. salted peanuts or dry roasted peanuts
1 c. creamy peanut butter
5 c. corn flakes

Combine sugar and syrup in a heavy 3 quart saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until blended. Add corn flakes and mix well. Press into buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool and cut into squares. Makes 2 1/2 pounds.
