RICE VEGETABLE PILAF 
1 1/3 c. water
1 tsp. chicken flavored bouillon
1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. shredded carrots
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1/2 c. sliced green onion
1/4 c. pecans or almonds
Pepper

Cook rice with water and bouillon until done. Add mushrooms and next 4 ingredients. Stir, add butter (3 tablespoons). Place butter pats on top, then microwave 4 minutes, stirring once.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
