HONEY PECAN BALLS 
1 c. Crisco
1/4 c. honey
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. finely chopped pecans
pinch of salt

Cream shortening. Add honey, then flour, salt and vanilla. Mix well and add nuts. Form into small balls on greased cookie sheet. Cook at 300°F for 30 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still hot. Cool, then roll again.
