COMMUNION BREAD 
(Really more sacramental when handcrafted).

1 qt. flour
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar

Rub butter into the flour, as for pastry. Dissolve the sugar in the milk. Mix and knead well for 15 minutes. Roll thin and place on cookie sheets. Score the top into small squares. Bake at 375 degrees to lightest browning. While it is still warm, break or cut into squares.
