SCALLOPED POTATOES AND PORK
CHOPS
 
6 pork chops (butterfly 1/2 inch)
5 c. sliced potatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. grease
6 slices American cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 1/4 c. milk

Brown chops. Place 1/2 potatoes in greased baking dish. Top with cheese. Add rest of potatoes. Top with pork chops. Salt and pepper. Cook onions in drippings. Add soup and milk. Heat. Pour over pork chops. Cover with foil. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Remove foil and continue baking for 30 minutes. Serves 4.
