1 lb. hamburger
1 (No. 4) can pork and beans
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lg. onion
1/2 c. catsup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Saute the hamburger until quite brown and separated. Drain off any excess fat. Add the beans and the other ingredients. Stir well, take cake not to mash up the beans in the process. Place in a 1 1/2 quart covered casserole dish in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.

This is an excellent picnic dish because it can be prepared ahead of time and warmed right in the casserole on the grill outdoors.

Variation: top with grated cheese may also add corn for a better flavor.
