MEAT AND RICE OVEN DINNER 
Chicken, beef, pork
2 slices sweet onion
1 green pepper, dice or thin slice
1/2 c. celery hearts, dice or thin slice
3 green onions, dice or thin slice
1 sm. carrot
1 sm. can mushrooms
1 tsp. dried crushed red peppers
1/4 c. soy sauce
3 1/2 to 4 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 c. uncooked rice
Garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ginger

Brown meat in butter - put on plate - add water to pan to make 2 cups. Stir fry vegetables in oil - add salt, pepper, spices and soy sauce. add water to make 2 cups.

In casserole dish or cake pan - put rice - add meat broth - add vegetables and liquid. Stir - place meat on top - cover with tin foil. Bake in oven at 350 degrees about 1 hour or until liquid is absorbed and rice is fluffy.
