CHOCOLATE CRINKLES 
1/2 c. oil
4 squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. confectioners sugar

Mix oil, chocolate and sugar in mixer bowl. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Add vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Chill for several hours to overnight. Drop by teaspoonfuls into confectioners sugar; shape into balls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or just until set; do not overbake. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely. Yield: 3 dozen.
