SCOTT'S FAMOUS GINGER COOKIES 
3/4 c. softened butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground clover
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 1/4 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar. Stir in molasses and egg. Stir in dry ingredients and mix well. Form dough into 1 inch balls and roll them in sugar to coat. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
