JOLEEN'S COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. and 2 tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
1 lg. can pie filling (flavor, your choice)

FROSTING:

Powdered sugar frosting

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time beating after each. Add vanilla, baking powder, flour. Put 1/3 of batter in 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread pie filling over this.

Add remaining dough batter by teaspoon to dot top of filling. Don't spread. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until center is done. Frost with powdered sugar frosting while still warm.
