FRIED PIE CRUST | |
2 1/4 c. flour 1/2 c. shortening 3/4 c. plus 1 tsp. milk 4 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg Mix sugar and shortening. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Cut until mixed well. Add egg and milk; mix well. Work on lightly floured board, roll out 1/8 dough in circle size of a saucer. Fill with 1 tablespoon desired filling. Fold in half, seal edges and fry in hot skillet with oil. |
