PIE CRUST FOR FRIED PIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Pour boiling water over shortening; stir until creamy, add salt, and baking powder to flour. Mix with shortening blending well, cover and chill in refrigerator. This will make 12 pies.
