VANILLA WAFER POUND CAKE 
TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter

Pour melted butter over other ingredients. If not moist enough, add more butter. Topping to be placed into pan before batter. Mold up side of bundt pan.

BATTER:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco

Cream together.

5 eggs, one at a time
1 c. milk
3 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together. Pour into vanilla wafer mold. Bake 1 hour 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
