VANILLA BUTTER AND NUT POUND CAKE | |
Cream together 1 cup butter and 1 cup superfine sugar. Beat in 4 eggs, one at a time. Sift together 1 3/4 cups sifted cake flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add half the flour mixture to butter mixture. Mix just until blended. Stir in remaining flour and 1 tablespoon IMITATION VANILLA BUTTER AND NUT FLAVOR. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Remove from pan immediately. Makes l loaf. |
