FIESTA BREAD 
1 stick butter
1/4 c. finely chopped green onion
1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 can drained mushroom pieces
6 ripe chopped olives
6 green chopped olives
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 loaf Italian bread, split lengthwise

Saute onions and peppers in butter and garlic powder. Pour hot mixture into cheese. Mix well. Add mushrooms and olives. Mix. Spread mixture evenly on both halves of Italian bread. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Let stand about 5 minutes to set cheese. Cut in 1" pieces. Bits of pepperoni can also be used. This can be made ahead of time and frozen until needed.
