MEATLOAF 
1 c. bread cubes (slices of bread)
1/4 c. beef stock or bouillon
1/4 c. ketchup or chili sauce
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 lb. ground round steak
1 green pepper, sliced

With a fork, whip bread, stock, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper until creamy. Stir in onion; combine with meat. Put in a shallow pan. Place pepper rings on top. Glaze top of meat with 2 tablespoons water and 2 tablespoons ketchup. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
