GOURMET - GARLIC/PAPRIKA CHICKEN | |
Approx. 8 lbs. chicken, cleaned & quartered (sometimes I remove much of the skin), clean well Place in 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Season with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Brown and turn; drain off fat. Combine: 1 1/2 c. half and half or milk 1 can mushroom or cream of chicken soup Combine in saucepan. Heat and pour over chicken in pan. Season with more garlic salt, etc. Add lots of paprika. Return to oven. Bake until tender, about 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. I open a can of small potatoes. Heat on stove and pour into serving dish with sauce on top. Add paprika. Good! Serves 9. |
