SALMON LOAF | |
1 (16 oz.) can salmon, drained 2 c. soft bread crumbs, about 2 1/2 slices 2 tbsp. chopped green onion 1 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. milk 1 slightly beaten egg Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Flake salmon, discarding skin and bones. In a bowl combine salmon, bread crumbs, chopped onion, butter, salt and pepper. Mix well. Combine milk and egg; add to salmon mixture and mix thoroughly. Shape into a loaf in a greased shallow baking pan or in a greased 7 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 2" loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes. |
