PUMPKIN PIE CAKE 
1 large can pumpkin pie mix (30 oz.)
1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. pecan pieces
2 sticks butter
8 oz. Cool Whip

Mix pumpkin pie mix as directed on the can. Spread into 9x11 pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over this. Top with pecans. Melt butter and drizzle over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool.

1. You can spread Cool Whip over all the cake and keep in the refrigerator or,

2. The cake can be topped with the Cool Whip or whipped cream as it is served.
