FANTASY CHEESECAKE | |
CRUST: 1 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/3 c. melted butter 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped honey roasted peanuts Combine ingredients in a bowl and press on bottom and side of a 9 inch springform pan. Set aside. CHEESECAKE: 3 (8 oz.) pkgs. softened cream cheese 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sugar 3 eggs 1 c. sour cream 12 oz. chocolate morsels 1 c. chopped peanuts 3 oz. chocolate baking bar 1/2 pkg. caramel candies Beat cream cheese, vanilla and sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Fold in sour cream, fold in 6 ounces chocolate morsels. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 60 to 70 minutes or until center is set. Turn off oven, leave door slightly open and cool for 1 hour in the oven. Chill for 4 hours. Remove side from pan, top with remaining chocolate morsels and peanuts. Melt caramel candy and chocolate baking bar over low heat, with 1/3 cup water. When melted, dribble candy and chocolate mixture over cheese cake with a spoon. Makes 1 cake. |
