1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. pecans or walnuts, divided into 3/4 c.
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9"x13" dish. Stir in medium bowl cake mix, melted butter and 3/4 cup nuts. Press evenly into bottom of dish.

TOPPING: Stir in medium bowl with spoon until well mixed, 1 cup brown sugar and 2 packages cream cheese. Spread topping evenly over base in pan and sprinkle with remaining 3/4 cup nuts. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool before cutting into bars. Store in refrigerator in air tight container. These taste like cheese cake.
