PUPADALS (ORANGE ITALIAN
COOKIES)
 
1 c. yellow Crisco
1 c. sugar

Beat together above with electric mixer for 3 minutes.

4 eggs

Add 1 egg at a time, beat until fluffy.

Sift together:

6 c. flour
6 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

Add flour mixture and:

1 c. undiluted FROZEN orange juice

Alternating flour and juice into egg mixture. Mixture will be doughy. Roll into small balls (slightly smaller than ping pong size). Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven, 400 degrees, for 15 minutes.

GLAZE:

With mixture of 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, add frozen orange juice until creamy. Dip top of each cookie in glaze. Add a few candy sprinkles for decorative touch.
