SKILLET BEEF STEW | |
1/2 c. reduced calorie salad dressing with no cholesterol 3/4 lb. sirloin or round steak, cubed 2 c. peeled, cubed potatoes 4 carrots, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces 1 sm. onion, quartered 1 c. water 1.2 oz. pkg. dry onion soup mix 1 tsp. basil leaves In 10 inch skillet, stir together salad dressing, beef and vegetables. Cook and stir over medium heat 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover. Reduce heat; simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serves 4 to 6. Preparation time: 20 minutes. Cooking time: 33 minutes. |
