TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk

To make substitute buttermilk, add 1 teaspoon vinegar to 1/2 cup milk.

Mix together in large bowl flour and sugar. Bring to rapid boil butter, oil, water and cocoa. Pour over flour-sugar mixture and blend well. Then add eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and buttermilk. Bake in greased jelly roll pan with rims 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Cool cake.

Bring to rapid boil 1 stick butter, 4 tablespoons cocoa, 6 tablespoons milk. Remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1-pound box powdered sugar. Frost cool cake and top with chopped nuts.
