GINGER SNAPS 
3/4 cup Crisco
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 egg beaten
4 tbsp molasses
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups plain flour
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix and cream shortening and sugar. Add beaten egg, then molasses. Next, add dry ingredients. Roll in small balls about the size of marbles. Dip in sugar. (Do Not Flatten.) Cook 350°F - 15 minutes.
