HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
8 eggs
3 1/2 c. sugar
1 pt. half and half
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 can Carnation evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla
Whole milk

Beat eggs for about 15 minutes. Gradually beat in sugar and salt until thickened. Add canned milk, cream, and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Add half and half slowly.

After 20-25 minutes (total) of beating, pour into freezer. Add whole milk to fill freezer up and covering third ring from top. Churn-freeze according to manufacturer's directions.

As a variation, for fruit flavor, add: 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix thoroughly with full recipe before pouring into freezer.
