WALNUT PASTRIES 
Oven temperature: 350 degrees. Time: 28-30 minutes. Yields: 36 small pastries.

CRUST:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
3 oz. cream cheese

Mix together and make small balls - mold into small muffin pans lined with small cupcake papers.

FILLING:

1 c. chopped walnuts
3/4 c. brownulated sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Mix together and put 1/2 teaspoon into each pastry cup. Let cool and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
