TRANSPARENT PIE 
2 well beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
Dash salt
Lemon extract
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
2 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract

When eggs are well beaten add other ingredients; mix well and pour into crust. Bake for 10 or 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce to 325 degrees and cook another 15 or 20 minutes. This makes a small thin pie. If large pie is desired add another egg and another 1/3 cup sugar and Karo syrup.
