SAUTEED PEAS AND BACON 
4 slices bacon
3 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1/4 c. sliced green onions
1/4 tsp. dried whole thyme

Cook 4 slices bacon in a large skillet; remove bacon, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet. Drain and crumble bacon; set aside. Break up frozen peas with a fork. Add peas and remaining ingredients to drippings in skillet; cook over medium heat 12-15 minutes, stirring often. Spoon peas into a serving dish and sprinkle bacon over top. Yield 6-8 servings.
