SNICKER DOODLES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs

Combine ingredients in large bowl and stir.

Add: 2 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt

Shape into round balls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 400 degrees, 10 minutes. 6 dozen cookies.

You can roll them before baking in a mixture of 3 tbsp. sugar and 3 tsp. cinnamon. (May burn - so sprinkle as soon as they are removed from oven.)
